GTA 5 New York City Mod List

I have always been a fan of New York City Mods for Grand Theft Auto V but I have to admit that it does look weird seeing the NYPD & FDNY with the Palm Trees of San Andreas. Because of this I decided to up my game and go all out with the most realistic New York City experience using the following GTA 5 mods listed below. These mods will transform your game from a LA vibe to a New York state of mind.

Liberty V Remix by Elcreador

Liberty V Remix & Liberty Rewind adds the original Liberty City map from Grand Theft Auto IV into GTA 5. This mod does not have all the features that were in GTA 4 but it is more than good enough and the modders really did a great job bringing it into the world of GTA 5. My favorite part about this mod is that it also includes traffic and pedestrians in the Algonquin (Manhattan) section of the city as well as a couple other locations. I originally installed version 1.01 from the second link. The first link has the updated version 5.6 which I plan to eventually install.

NYPD Mods

New York City Police Department Mega Pack by Walters

This pack replaces all of the default police slots with NYPD vehicles. This includes marked patrol cars, unmarked units, ESU, taxi police car, tow truck, prisoner transport bus and highway patrol cars.

New York City Police Department Unmarked Mini Pack by Torz

This pack contains unmarked NYPD police cars including a Ford Taurus, Dodge Charger, Ford Explorer, Chevy Impala and Ford Crown Victoria. The Explorer, Charger & Crown Victoria are unmarked highway patrol units.

FDNY Mods

The FDNY fire trucks used in my videos are from Medic4523 old Seagrave pack which is no longer available because he removed them from the internet. He has added other packs to a website called Modification-Universe and there is a chance that he may eventually upload an updated pack with FDNY style fire trucks. These are used around the Times Square area of New York City and for special details around the city to respond to EMS calls in very crowded and congested areas using a ASAP911 Gator Utility Vehicle.
